Additional Information

Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) found the perfect location for their new facility but it needed additional square footage.  It was concluded that by raising and existing portion of the roof they could construct a mezzanine level to provide the additional space.

To achieve this, Rooflifters shored the existing roof structure to allow for the removal of interior columns and for the foundation work necessary for the mezzanine.  Once the foundation work was completed the roof was raised to its new elevation.

The original use for the building was an indoor go-karting facility.  The new use by HUMC is now a state-of-the-art sports and health center.
