Additional Information

Owners of the retail property had received interest from SAIL, a national outdoor products retailer, to open one of their newest locations.  However, the ideal location in the existing center, once used for furniture and appliance retail, had a clear height that was 6 feet too low for their business model.

The ownership group easily determined that simply raising a 19,000 sf section of the existing 54,000 sf building would accommodate SAIL.  The roof area was set up and lifted within a 10 day period on an accelerated schedule in order to allow SAIL to start operating at their new location sooner.  After the roof lifting a mezzanine level was also constructed inside the space.
